Roslyn's Closet

I've been on the hunt for cute baby onesies and I found this amazing Etsy shop Roslyn's Closet. Her stuff is adorbale and her prices are great. Here are a few of my favorites. I seriously would buy everything if I could.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE?!!?!?!?! I think my favorite is the first one, too funny!!

What pissed me off this week?

hmmm let's see, my stupid ass blackberry decides to break. The track ball is not working therefore I cannot use my phone to text, email, bbm or anything. I can only make phone calls on the damn thing and that's pretty lame. I have insurance but if I'm going to pay $150.00 for a replacement Curve that I bought damn near two years ago I might as well get a new phone. The only phones on my want list right now are the Blackberry Storm or the Iphone. Tmobile is not a carrier for either of the two phones. So, I might just jump to AT&T.

Not only is my phone broken but the charger broke A G A I N. I have a really high bed and I always charge the phone right next to my bed on my bedside table. Someone called me really late last night and I just left the phone on the bed. At some point during my wild slumber the phone fell and it must have landed wrong and the USB thingy broke.

I ordered boots online and rec'd a size 6 when I ordered a size 9. wtf?! not only did it take a week for me to receive the damn boots but then they send me the wrong size. I call them and apparently in order for them to ship out a new pair, I have to buy a new pair and once they receive the wrong pair, they will issue a credit to my credit card. In short, I paid $186.00 twice for a pair of boots that I do not have. And I probably won't receive the credit or the damn boots until next week.

That last incident probably irritated me the most. I know these are all minor things and it could be a lot worse but damn, can i get a break, puhhllease?!

There is something good to report though, I'm listening to my Tony!Toni!Tone! station on Pandora and i la la looove it! lol.

"Just living is not enough...One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."-- Hans Christian Andersen.

I had to go to the DMV this morning (big whommpp) but it allowed me to spend some time out of the office and in the sun this morning. The weather is so beautiful today. I stopped at a lil' cafe, had some coffee, sent some emails and just relaxed. I was two hours late but I could not resist. The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze and the temperature was just perfect. I so did not want to come to work.

I love days like this.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Seen any good movies lately?

With the upcoming award shows, I've been talking about nothing but movies. I took advantage of all my free time during the Holiday's and saw several great movies. I have yet to see Slumdog Millionaire and The Reader . Maybe I'll get around to it this weekend. Here's what I did manage to see though....

Seven Pounds was awesome. Definitely showcased what an amazingly versatile actor Will Smith is. I think the concept of the movie was genius and I don't know if any of you saw it but, I thought it was really sad. At the same time it was extremely sweet and romantic. I always knew that Rosario Dawson was beautiful but she's just g o r g e o u s in this movie.

Revolutionary Road was insane! DO NOT go see this movie if you're down in the dumps, that's forsure. This movie is most certainly not a feel good movie but it is so damn good. Kate Winslett and Leonardo DiCaprio are great together. Their chemistry is great and this movie was captivating. Definitely not a happy ending but it's very good.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button...such a precious movie. I'm sure most of you have seen it. My bf complained about it being too long but he's a guy and he was hungry and sleepy so his opinion doesn't matter. It was long in the beginning but it was well worth it so I didn't mind. All in all it was a very sweet story. Oh, and Taraji Hensen was also great in this movie. I just love her.

Changeling was another great film. I cried and cried and felt so sorry for Angelina Jolie's character. The fact that this is a true story just made me cry harder. Again, not a good ending but still a great movie. I've been told it's hard to watch certain movies once you become a parent and this would probably be one of those movies.

I attempted to watch Valkyrie but fell asleep within the first 10 mins so I can't give you my opinion on that one. If I remember correctly there wasn't very much dialogue in the beginning but maybe I'm wrong. At any rate, I didn't like the first 20 mins if that means anything.

I forgot to mention earlier that I also would like to see Milk and Doubt too. I honestly cannot believe that I haven't seen Milk yet because i love me some Sean Penn. Don't judge me! You know he's one sexy man :)

So maybe I'll get around to seeing two more movies this weekend. Hope you all have a great one.

I am still alive

I have not disappeared, I just needed a blogging break. I spent some much needed QT with my boy over the break and I also caught up on tons of sleep. Christmas was perfect, New Years was great and being back to work sucks.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I'm so looking forward to everything to come in 2009!!
